NDEO’s Virtual Professional Development Day for Dance Teachers

This 1-day mini conference for dance teachers is a unique professional development opportunity featuring 20+ live virtual professional development sessions including movement sessions, panel discussions, and paper presentations on various topics covering different dance education sectors and environments. Excerpts of Session Titles from the Schedule: 1) Creative Aging: Dancing Across the Life Course, 2) From “The” Body to “This” Body: Realigning Anatomical Pedagogy in Dance, 3) American Rhythmic Traditions: Continuity, Connection and Community, 4) Here. Now. With. Modulating Student Stress and Trauma with Prosocial Somatic Practices, 5) Dances of Inclusion: Using Creative Processes to Explore Equity and Justice, and 6) I Am Enough: Using Social-Emotional Books to Inspire Dance Making in Early Childhood. Attendees will receive 0.5 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) and access to all recorded sessions for 1 month after the event. Cost is $95 for NDEO Members or $160 for Non-Members.
