SLAM! A Festival of Ballets

Washington’s premiere contemporary ballet company presents Slam! A Festival of Ballets, featuring two bold premieres and five ballets from our repertoire in two programs, celebrating the company’s ten years in Washington D.C. We return to the stage with a provocative production of dance, music and slam poetry. This season features the world premiere of SLAM! – an exciting work of four choreographers paired up with two slam poets performing live onstage, featured at all performances – and Weave the Wind, a gorgeously poignant work for seven dancers. Join us for five nights with two different programs of dance being performed throughout the weekend.
