At an English supper club in the 1930s, a group of audacious and flirtatious guests vie for the spotlight (and each other’s affections) in a revival and expansion of one of Tom Gold’s earliest works, Mad About the Boy, as Tom Gold Dance returns to the Grand Ballroom at Bohemian National Hall for its 2026 spring season, Thursday, April 9 and Friday, April 10. Set to the sophisticated and delightful songwriting of Ivor Novello, Noël Coward, and others, Mad About the Boy reunites Tom Gold Dance with sensational jazz vocalist Olivia Chindamo and versatile pianist Matthew Sheens — musical anchors of the Company’s journey to the French New Wave in Gold’s Le Voyage — for a vivacious and virtuosic romp inspired by Robert Altman’s satirical masterpiece, Gosford Park.
