Palm Desert Choreography Festival

Dedicated to the advancement of dance as an art form, specifically through the support and promotion of quality choreography, this festival includes a choreography competition, outreach projects, workshops, residencies and a Lifetime Achievement Award presentation. Since 1998, Festival has presented 738 original pieces of choreography and awarded over $740,000 in prize money. Travel to Palm Desert, California with your dancers and have your work performed on the beautiful McCallum Theatre stage before a supportive audience and panel of judges. Monetary stipends for all finalists. Final deadline to submit your work for the 2023 Festival is April 1st.
