Kennedy Center Dance Lab Audition

Kennedy Center Dance Lab aims to empower young dancers to be impactful change-makers and leaders by providing them with critical career tools, impactful experiences, and high-caliber training to support their growth as the next generation of dance industry professionals. 2023 Program Dates: July 30 – August 14, 2023 Curated by Artistic Lead, Hope Boykin, this two-week program for pre-professional high school dancers entering grades 9-12 in Fall 2023 features: Ballet and modern technique with master teachers, master classes with renowned instructors, creativity and choreography labs, workshops in dance wellness and injury prevention, intimate conversations with dance industry professionals, discussions about critical issues in dance and the role of “Citizen Artistry,” mock audition working sessions, college preparedness panels with faculty from the nation’s top performing arts conservatories, opportunities to collaborate and create work with other students, partnering, and more! Open to pre-professional high school dancers entering grades 9-12 in Fall of 2023.
