For over 70 years, the Dance Magazine Awards have recognized trailblazers in choreography, performance, education, and advocacy—spotlighting those whose contributions elevate the art form.
The 2025 Dance Magazine Awards will recognize Donald Byrd, Frances Chung, Mandy Moore, Kenny Ortega, Lula Washington, and Brenda Way with Kimi Okada of ODC. Debbie Allen will receive the Chairman’s Award for her contributions as an educator, while posthumous honors will be presented to four artists who were not acknowledged during their lifetimes.
