Admissons open for BAdance Program

The BAdance program at the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts, taught in German and English, is an 8-Semester education leading to a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) academic degree. In addition to fundamental ballet and contemporary dance techniques, students learn improvisation forms (incl. contact improvisation), somatics, composition, partnering, capoeira, pointe work, variations, repertory, dance studies, music theory, and applied anatomy taught by an experienced, international faculty and guest teachers. To support and nurture their artistic growth, critical reflection and the dynamic relationship between practice and theory are central components of the education. Students perform new creations by internationally renowned choreographers throughout the academic year and have opportunities to create their own work. Graduates possess the tools and experience to lead prolific artistic lives as dance professionals and bring innovative and socially responsible change to the dance field as a whole. No study fees are charged for this program, however a semester contribution (currently 324,78 Euro) is required.
