A Midsummer Night’s Dream

Amidst a forest filled with fairies and frivolity, enchanted lovers resolve mischievous mix-ups and reunite with their intendeds. Based on the classic Shakespeare story, this brand new production is choreographed by Texas Ballet Theater Artistic Director Ben Stevenson, O.B.E. and has a run time of approximately 2 hours. A Midsummer Night’s Dream is Stevenson’s first new full-length ballet in more than 20 years, and will also be the final production of Company Dancer Carolyn Judson’s career. Judson has danced with TBT for 19 seasons and performed leading roles in many of Stevenson’s ballets, such as Romeo and Juliet, Alice in Wonderland, Cinderella, Swan Lake, and many more. A Midsummer Night’s Dream will run May 6-8, 2022 at Winspear Opera House in Dallas and May 20-22, 2022 at Bass Performance Hall in Fort Worth.
